RVCU receives 2021 Kudos® Best Culture Award
LOVES PARK, Ill. (Dec. 16, 2021) - Rock Valley Credit Union (RVCU), a local and independent financial institution that offers personal solutions for individual and family banking needs, is proud to announce its has received a 2021 Kudos® Best Culture Award in recognition of its inclusive, collaborative and supportive workplace culture.
The 2021 Best Culture Awards recognize organizations dedicated to creating great workplace cultures through efforts to improve employee recognition, employee engagement, and the overall employee experience.

As part of the award, RVCU was recognized as a “Culture Innovator” for fostering a strong and supportive culture through creative efforts and thinking outside the box to boost engagement, morale and regular recognition.

RVCU received the award based on its employee recognition program. At RVCU, employees are encouraged to acknowledge fellow coworkers for major accomplishments, like setting a professional goal, to smaller acts of kindness, like holding a door open for someone. The recognition system allows employees to award their co-workers for going above and beyond on a daily basis. Based on the number of points they collect, they can cash them in for gifts, gift cards, and even extra vacation days.
